Living Green - On a Budget

Most people would choose to buy organic and green over non-organic, but these products tend to be more expensive than regular products and there isn't always room in the budget for extra expenses.

So...we are starting a new feature called Living Green - On a Budget ! These posts will be devoted to highlighting the best deals out there on organic, green, and healthy living products. These posts will be archived on a separate page that can be accessed from the tab at the top of the blog.

The first resource that you need to know about is the Healthy Shopper website, where you can access online coupons for various organic products. The coupons can be printed off on your own printer and are accepted at most stores. I haven't had any problems with these coupons being accepted at my usual grocery stores.

There are a number of small stores that carry organic products exclusively, such as Planet Organic. However, you can also find organic sections in most large grocery stores as well. Save on Foods has an excellent selection of organic and health foods.
